A so-called cleric in Saudi Arabia​ claims that the Earth doesn't move. The Telegraph​ article:

Three scary things:
1) Sheikh Bandar al-Khaibari is supposed to be educated
2) This was during a university lecture in Saudi Arabia
3) His silliness was actually an answer to a student who asked if the Earth moves or not - so maybe university degrees from this region shouldn't be taken very seriously

Yet another reason to boycott United Arab Emirates​ - not only do they abuse basic rights for humans and women in particular, but people like this idiot actually have power and are respected there.

I'm using the pomodoro technique to transcribe a two hour interview for a magazine, using a free program called Focus Booster:

It slices work into 25 minute sessions, followed by a five minute break. Simple, but it really works!
